Candid wedding photography in Mumbai and across India
Nikhil Kapur is a candid wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Mumbai, working with handpicked experts on each assignment and specialising in destination wedding photography in India. Alongside the wedding day, he shoots stylised bridal portraits, glamorous couple portraits, intimate family portraits and creative pre-wedding and engagement shoots.
He has shot more than 150 weddings across India, from Kashmir to Corbett to Manipur to Chennai to Kerala, and internationally in Thailand and Australia, with projects also under way in Dubai and the United States.
Every wedding is personal. Nikhil shoots with a minimal crew and lets the bride, groom and their families enjoy their own space. His philosophy is simple: blend in, because that is how you find the best moments. Since he shoots from the shadows, many know him as the “Wedding Ninja”.
