Kids Photography

When a child’s endless amounts of energy meets my still photography expertise (spot the paradox), it’s beauty in chaos. We all love a drop of nostalgia every now and then, don’t we? Photographing kids gives them and us a chance to live through moments captured as photographs, forever. Capturing kids is one of my most favourite challenges because it’s never you who is directing the child; but the other way around. As a kids photographer, I try to capture a story, a moment in time that’s as precious as the child themselves. My shooting style is such that I let them play and have fun, so much so that they barely notice me! Of course, working with kids means creating a connection very quickly and finding a way to catch the right emotion at the right instant. And I have a lot of fun doing that.

Children are honest on camera. The best pictures come from letting them play, move and be themselves, so sessions are relaxed and led by the child rather than by poses. You get photographs that feel like the child, and that you will want to look at years from now.
